I recently attended the She Loves Tech conference, where women from all over the world gathered to discuss and dissect the most pressing issues of our time. This event was a celebration of the power of women in technology and innovation and it left me feeling inspired and hopeful for the future.

The agenda was thoughtfully curated to encompass a wide range of topics, each more important and thought-provoking than the last.

One session that particularly struck a chord with me was the discussion on “How to control your attention in a world full of distractions” presented by Nir Eyal – an author of Indistractable and Hooked. In today’s fast-paced world, we’re constantly bombarded with information and stimuli that can easily divert our focus. He shared valuable insights on techniques to regain control of our attention, allowing us to lead more purposeful and fulfilling lives.

“Are tech advancements creating an external crisis?” was another intriguing topic that ignited great discussions. We all recognise the transformative power of technology, but it’s essential to question whether these advancements are being used to their full potential. We must be vigilant in addressing the ethical and societal implications that come with the rapid evolution of technology, ensuring that it serves the greater good.

One of the most promising aspects of the conference was the conversation surrounding “The rise of AI and virtual reality on improving health outcomes.” Technology has the potential to revolutionise healthcare and provide more accessible and efficient care. The women at She Loves Tech demonstrated how innovative solutions are emerging to tackle health challenges with AI and Virtual Reality, offering hope for better healthcare access worldwide.

“Women and money” It’s undeniable that women have made incredible strides in the world of finance, but disparities still exist. The She Loves Tech conference emphasized the importance of financial literacy and empowerment for women, helping us take control of our economic destinies.

As I sat in the audience, surrounded by dynamic women from all walks of life, I was reminded of the unshakable strength and determination that resides in each of us. The discussions throughout the conference showed that when women come together to address complex issues in the world of technology, incredible progress can be made.

She Loves Tech isn’t just a conference; it’s a movement, a beacon of hope and a testament to the transformative power of women in technology. It’s a reminder that our voices, ideas, and contributions are not just valuable; they are essential in shaping the world we want to live in.

So, to all the brilliant women who graced the stage, shared their insights, and inspired us with their stories, thank you. Thank you for reminding us that, in the face of challenges, we are unstoppable. And thank you for reminding us that when women unite, the possibilities are endless.

I encourage everyone to keep an eye on the upcoming She Loves Tech events – you won’t be disappointed.
